# Medidor del nivel de agua

El medidor de nivel de corriente (Stream Gauge) y el medidor de marejada ciclónica (Storm Surge Gauge) del sistema 3D-PAWS utilizan el sensor ultrasónico MaxBotix MB7363 o MB7364 HRXL-MaxSonar-WRLS para proporcionar mediciones de nivel de agua fiables y de alta resolución. Estos sensores robustos y resistentes a la intemperie están diseñados para el monitoreo ambiental en exteriores, y ofrecen resolución a nivel de milímetros, un amplio rango de detección (hasta 10 metros para el MB7363 y 5 metros para el MB7364) y algoritmos sólidos de rechazo de ruido. Su patrón de haz estrecho y la calibración en tiempo real garantizan lecturas de distancia precisas incluso en condiciones difíciles, lo que los hace muy adecuados para monitorear alturas de arroyos y marejadas ciclónicas en entornos meteorológicos dinámicos.
